FAQ's
I've lost something in the club, can you help?
Please drop an email to benjy@birminghamspaces.co.uk where we’ll be able to assist. Let us know your name, number, the date in which you lost your item, and a detailed description of your item. Please be aware we only keep lost items for 28 days.
What does 'student-only' mean?
Our night time events are strictly for University Students. On top of your usual ID, we’ll require you to flash your University card on the door. Groups are allowed +1 none student guest per group of 2+. We do operate some Saturday day events, which are not student-only events, and these will be 18+.
How do I get to TRIP?
We’re a 10 minute walk from Bullring, and a 15 minute walk from New Street Station. You can click here for how to find us.
How do I apply for a job at TRIP?
We’re always on the hunt for likeminded, creative individuals and students to work at TRIP. Please send your CV and something fun about yourself to benjy@birminghamspaces.co.uk. You’ve gotta meet our vibe.
Is there a dress code?
We’re pretty laid back at TRIP. After all, we’re all about self expression. The only items of clothing we do not allow are: large bags over the size of A4 and balaclavas.
What is TRIP's drug policy?
TRIP operates a strict zero tolerance to drugs policy. Anybody caught in possession of drugs inside the venue will be banned from the venue, and also reported to West Midlands Police. The same applies for anyone asking for drugs.
What is TRIP's search policy?
Everyone coming to party at TRIP will be searched on arrival. If you refuse to be searched, you will not be allowed to enter the club. We may, at any point, ask you to come for a further search whilst inside the venue in response to something that has happened inside the club. If you refuse, we will detain you and West Midlands Police will be called. Metal detection is also used during peak periods.
How old do you need to be to get in?
We’re a licensed premises; that means that you have to be 18+ to get in. Please make sure you bring your ID with you. As the old saying goes – no ID, no entry (oh and don’t forget your University card too!). We only accept a valid passport, foreign national ID card, driving license, or Home Office approved PASS hologram as identification/proof of age.
When is last entry?
Don’t be a wally and leave it to the very last minute. Last entry times at TRIP are strict, but all events have different little details – check the T&C’s and event info on your ticket confirmation or event description.
